Jim Nickens Is Appointed To The Indiana Soccer Board of Directors

June 30, 2021 – InSource and the Indiana Soccer Association are excited to announce that Jim Nickens has joined the Indiana Soccer Board of Directors. Jim is President of InSource in Indianapolis, IN., a leading financial solutions partner for banks, broker-dealers and financial professionals across the country.

“I have had the pleasure of working with and observing Jim in his service as the president of the Indiana Soccer Foundation. He has demonstrated his commitment to the Indiana Soccer family for many years and in numerous capacities. I look forward to his continued contribution of excellence in his service as a member of Indiana Soccer Board of Directors,” states Dave Guthrie, Indiana Soccer’s Executive Director.

Jim has always believed in giving back to the communities in which he resides and is an enthusiastic advocate for the causes where he can help affect change. Currently, he is active on the Banking Insurance & Securities Association (BISA) Diversity Committee, serves on the boards of the Indiana Soccer Foundation and The Ronald McDonald House of Indiana Finance Subcommittee. Prior board work includes Woodland Hill Montessori School, Unity House of Troy, and Double H Ranch. In his spare time, Jim is a coach at Indy Premier Soccer Club.

Nickens joined InSource in 2011 after a successful tenure as Senior Vice President and Sales Manager for Key Investment Services LLC (KIS) where he was responsible for providing sales leadership to financial advisors in the Eastern New York and Vermont regions.

Prior to joining Key, Nickens served as Regional Investment Sales Manager and Vice President for NatCity Investments, managing a successful team of financial advisors in Indiana and Kentucky. Previous to that position, he was Vice President and Affiliate Sales Manager for Fifth Third Securities in Toledo, OH. There he was named Manager of the Year and qualified for the President’s Circle.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Amherst College (Amherst, Massachusetts) and holds Series 6, 7, 24, 51, 63, and Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licenses.

Above all else, Jim cherishes his time with his wife and three daughters.
