InSource employee receives Women’s Leadership Council Grant
InSource, Inc. (Indianapolis, IN) announces its employee Arielle Mathre is the recent recipient of a grant from the Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) Education Grant Program. The program awards up to $1,000 to recipients who work in financial services and desire to advance their industry education, training and knowledge base.
Mathre, an Internal Sales Consultant at InSource, plans to use the grant to enroll in a professional development course, Retirement Fundamentals, offered by LOMA, an international trade association providing designations and educational resources for the insurance and financial services industry.
“I applied to the program because I want to be able to better help the advisors I work with. This course will be a good foundation for understanding the work they do and their clients’ needs,” says Mathre who earned her Life, Accident & Health license since joining InSource in 2020.
2021 is the first year the WLC Education Grant Program invited applicants to apply for the grant which is solely funded from its member contributions. WLC is comprised of women agency principals who belong to the insurance association Insurance Designers of America (IDA). Eligibility for the WLC grant is restricted to IDA Partner members and their employees.
Tricia Pilone, WLC Chair and President of CPI Companies (Voorhees, NJ) states, “WLC was originally conceived in 2019 by a circle of friends who wanted to give back to the insurance industry, while heightening awareness and strengthening opportunities for women. The grant program grew out of discussions about the need to enhance leadership skills and industry knowledge. The grant is open to anyone within our association, not just women.”
